Let There Be Green On Earth, And Let It Begin With ME!

I don't know about everyone else in this wonderful forum, but I grew up hearing the expression, "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me." That may be part of my devout Anglican upbringing with my father and brother as ordained clergy, or it could be the fact that my family is -very- Canadian; those facts notwithstanding, I love the saying, but it didn't seem completely appropriate for my current attitude.
